Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026 · Version 2026-10-01
LoreBinders is operated by ProsePal LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains how we handle information when you use our website, manuscript analysis service, and contact form. Our service is intended for the United States market.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, authentication information, account identifiers, credit balance, and your signup confirmation of the Terms of Service version and legal eligibility. Necessary authentication cookies keep you signed in.
- Manuscripts and results: the files and text you submit, extracted entities, analysis, summaries, and generated Story Bibles.
- Run information: job identifiers, status, timestamps, errors, model identifiers, token usage, and cost information used to operate the service and account for credits.
- Payment information: Stripe processes payments. We receive payment and refund status, amounts, currency, purchase and customer identifiers, and related transaction metadata. We do not receive or store your full payment card numbers.
- Contact and abuse prevention: the name, email address, and message you submit through our contact form, together with hashed IP information used to limit abuse. Infrastructure providers also process technical request and security logs.
2. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, generate and deliver your Story Bibles, manage credits and refunds, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, secure the service, and meet obligations required by law. We do not use your information for marketing.
We do not sell, rent, or license any user data, including manuscripts, outputs, personal information, or aggregated or deidentified data. We do not use your manuscripts or outputs to train AI models, and our inference providers may not use them for training.
3. Confidentiality and service providers
We treat your manuscripts, analysis, and outputs as confidential. We limit access to what is necessary to provide and secure the service, respond to your support request, or comply with a legally binding requirement. We do not publish your manuscript or make it available to other customers.
We use Google Cloud (GCP) for hosting and job execution; Supabase for accounts, databases, and file storage; OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to for AI inference; Stripe for payments and refunds; and Resend to deliver contact-form messages. These providers process information necessary for their roles. Manuscript content is sent for inference only through routes requiring zero data retention (ZDR). Inference providers do not retain that submitted content or use it to train models. This inference-content restriction does not mean that all account, billing, or technical metadata across our service is subject to zero retention.
Provider processing may occur in the United States or other countries. We use access controls and protected connections, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
4. Retention and account deletion
We retain your manuscripts, generated outputs, and analysis until you delete your account. Account and run records support your use of the service while your account remains open.
You can request account closure from your account page or through our contact form. Closure stops new runs. We settle any unused paid-credit refund before completing account deletion; a pending payment-provider refund can delay completion. Free credits have no cash value. See the Terms of Service for refund details.
When deletion completes, we delete your account and associated manuscripts, analysis, outputs, and operational records from our active systems. We retain only the minimum financial records that applicable law requires, for only as long as that law requires. We do not retain manuscript content under this exception.
Deletion from active systems does not promise immediate erasure from every provider backup or technical log. Residual copies may remain until the relevant provider's backup or log retention ends. We do not promise a fixed erasure schedule for those systems. Any residual manuscript copies remain confidential and are not used for training, marketing, or sale.
5. Your choices and rights
You can access your generated results through your account and request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We honor applicable privacy rights, including any nonwaivable rights under the law that applies to you.
Only people who have reached the legal minimum age and have capacity to enter contracts independently under applicable law may create an account. If you believe someone who does not meet this requirement has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and arrange deletion.
6. Changes and contact
For future material changes, we will provide notice through the service or your account email before the changes take effect. The effective date and version above identify this policy.
